Brish Education Network is a registered social enterprise, founded in 2019 and officially incorporated in 2024, dedicated to transforming education in Uganda and East Africa. We were established in response to the urgent need for accessible, relevant, and globally connected education systems that equip learners with skills for the 21st century.
Our organization serves as a bridge between schools, universities, educators, and development partners, fostering collaboration to co-create innovative and impactful learning experiences. Through these partnerships, we aim to enhance educational outcomes, promote practical skill development, and inspire a culture of lifelong learning among students, teachers, and institutions.

I am Sengendo Shafic, a Ugandan social entrepreneur, business development consultant, and innovation trainer passionate about transforming education and empowering youth across East Africa. As the Founder and CEO of Brish Media Empire and Brish Education Network, I lead initiatives that equip young people and small businesses with practical, hands-on skills for innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.
With over a decade of experience in leadership and enterprise development, I have worked with organizations such as UNICEF, the International Labour Organization (ILO), and the Uganda Small Scale Industries Association (USSIA) to promote social innovation, digital skills, and sustainable business growth. I also mentor young innovators through Wezesha Impact and the Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship.
