Founder and leader: co-founded the CVISNET Foundation and has been recognized for decades-long "can-do" attitude in promoting ICT development in the Philippines. Assisted and facilitated the first internet connection of the country in 1994.

Community empowerment: championed various initiatives, such as the ISLET Connect Project, to provide reliable internet access to underserved and marginalized island communities.

E-governance: lead CVISNET Foundation to implement projects that aim to digitize local government unit (LGU) services to create "Smart communities" under the Barangay e-Systems and Tools project (BeST)

Disaster resilience: involved in R&D initiatives that use technology for disaster preparedness and response, such as the X-FACE Disaster Retrieval Simulation and the development of a Locally Accessible Cloud System (LACS) in cooperation with Japanese organizations

Speaker and collaborator: a frequent speaker at technology and social entrepreneurship conferences and represents CVISNET in collaborations with partners like the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), ATR Japan, and various academic institutions
