Salva Aleu Wol Aleu

I’m Salva Aleu Wol, a youth leader from South Sudan, where I founded and lead the Young Farmers. My journey in development and sustainability began with mobilizing and training local youth around climate-smart agriculture and community resilience.

I’ve engaged deeply with the rural community leaders to understand climate vulnerabilities, food security needs, and youth aspirations. These consultations inspired me to design YF as a youth‑led hub for training, green micro-enterprise incubation, and regenerative farming entrepreneurship.

My vision is to catalyze a generation of young agripreneurs who can turn climate challenges into opportunity—through solar irrigation rental services, compost production, drought-tolerant seed systems, and agroforestry ventures. I aim to promote inclusive economic growth while restoring degraded lands and reducing carbon emissions across South Sudan.

I’m currently laying strategic groundwork towards implementation, building regional networks, and pursuing partnerships with local universities, government ministries, and development agencies like FAO and UNDP. My goal is for YF to evolve into a flagship platform for climate-smart agriculture and youth empowerment across East Africa.

I’m passionate about transforming rural livelihoods through green innovation, empowering youth with skills, and linking grassroots change with continental climate action goals.
