My organisation

Green Hands for Landscaping & Training is a pioneering Jordanian enterprise founded in 2013 by Rania Abo Dawwas—the first licensed female-led landscape engineering office in Jordan. The company specializes in sustainable garden design that integrates water-efficient plants, low-maintenance landscaping solutions, and environmentally conscious techniques. Over the past decade, Green Hands has designed and implemented over 100 gardens and trained more than 300 agricultural engineers. Beyond its on-ground projects, Green Hands is leading a digital transformation in the landscaping sector through a new regional online platform. This platform offers 2D/3D landscape design services for homeowners and businesses, as well as certified training programs for agricultural engineers. Graduates of the training program are onboarded as verified service providers on the platform, empowering a new generation of green professionals across Jordan and the wider Arab region. Green Hands has received national and regional recognition through awards such as the Citi Foundation Award for Startups, Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Innovation, and SwitchMed Green Entrepreneurship Prize. The founder has represented Jordan in global entrepreneurship and sustainability forums, including the WSIS+20 Forum in Geneva, the Arab SME Summit in Qatar, and environmental dialogues in Egypt, Kuwait, and the UAE. With a mission to blend innovation, inclusion, and sustainability, Green Hands aims to expand its reach into the Gulf and MENA markets while promoting green entrepreneurship, digital capacity building, and environmentally resilient urban spaces.
