About me
a pioneering Jordanian entrepreneur and landscape engineer with over 15 years of experience in sustainable garden design and professional training. In 2013, she founded Green Hands for Landscaping and Training—the first female-owned landscape engineering and training office licensed in Jordan. She has designed and implemented more than 100 gardens and trained over 300 agricultural engineers across the country.
As a certified trainer by the Jordanian Agricultural Engineers Association since 2014, Rania is dedicated to capacity building, digital transformation in agriculture, and environmentally sustainable landscaping. Her work bridges agriculture and architecture through water-efficient, low-maintenance garden designs that promote green innovation.
She is a multiple award-winning entrepreneur, recognized by institutions such as CitiBank (2013), Union Bank (2015), and the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation for Innovation (2018). Her green business initiative reached the finals of major competitions like SwitchMed (2016) , and was selected by Womenpreneur as one of the Top 10 Women Entrepreneurs in the Middle East.
Rania has participated in global programs such as WIPO’s IP for Entrepreneurs (2025), ESCWA’s E-commerce Program, and EU-supported export management and water diplomacy training. She has also contributed to international forums like WSIS+20 in Geneva, Arab Food Security Summit in Egypt, and the 4th Arab SME Summit in Qatar.
She is a passionate volunteer and youth leader, having earned the Prince Hassan Youth Award (Gold) in 2009. She’s also an alumna of the U.S. Department of State’s IVLP program (2014), a founding member of musical arts collective Daqat, and serves in leadership roles in several cultural and professional associations across Jordan.
